Everton fans react to latest transfer report linking Issa Diop
Everton fans have reacted to a transfer link involving West Ham United defender Issa Diop.
A recent report by TeamTalk claimed that the French defender wanted to leave the London Stadium at the end of the season, and whilst that claim has not been confirmed, it has prompted further transfer reports.
The 23-year-old made a move to the Hammers in the summer of 2018 from Ligue 1 side Toulouse, and he has impressed, becoming a regular starter at the club.
Despite his impressive form, Sky Sports News reported last week that West Ham boss David Moyes was tempted to cash in this summer.
Such reports have caused a number of Premier League sides to show interest with TeamTalk claiming Everton are reportedly keen.
Carlo Ancelotti is seemingly keen to bring in his own players this summer and Diop would make a significant difference to the Toffees defence should a move be made.
Despite claims that Moyes is unconvinced by the defender, losing such a player could have consequences on West Ham, with the club looking to improve on this campaign, which sees them sit just above the relegation zone at present.
Reacting to the story, Everton fans remained coy in the idea of making a summer move for the centre-back.
