Everton closing in on Fikayo Tomori loan deal
Everton are close to signing Chelsea centre back Fikayo Tomori on a loan deal, according to ESPN
It is reported that talks between the clubs are now at an advanced stage and that a deal is set to be completed for the England international.
Tomori, who broke into the first team last season under Frank Lampard, impressed in his maiden campaign but found game time quite tough to come by.
Through his performances, the defender attracted interest from a whole host of Premier League sides but Everton are closing in on a loan move.
Tomori, who made 22 appearances for the Blues last season, now looks set to leave the London club in search of regular first-team football for the 2020/21 season, to further his development.

It’s evident that Tomori’s game time at Chelsea would’ve been limited next season, so this is a good move for all parties.
Tomori should be given regular game time at Goodison Park and Everton will have a Premier League proven defender in their ranks.
The move should only help Tomori develop further under the guidance of Carlo Ancelotti and the Englishman will be a part of a well established Premier League side.
The loan fee will also help recoup some funds from the six signings Chelsea have made so far this summer so all in all, this looks like a smart move for all parties.
