This summer could see some great new additions made in the Everton squad.
Initially, plans had no doubt been surrounded by former manager Carlo Ancelotti’s desired targets.
However, after the Italian departed the club at the start of the month, the Toffees are out to find a new manager.
Despite this, the Blues are actively seeking a new manager, and a new forward if reports are accurate.
According to The Telegraph, Everton are prepared to battle Tottenham for the signing of LAFC forward Diego Rossi…
The Uruguayan forward has been in fine form for the MLS club after joining from Peñarol in 2018.
Rossi has played 107 games for Los Angeles FC, scoring 56 goals with 21 assists in all competitions.
This season has been no different, with the 23-year-old managing three goals from the first five games so far.
It seems as though Everton will face some competition, however, with fellow Premier League club Tottenham also interested.
The forward has a current market value of £18million according to Transfermarkt, but could be available for cheaper.
The report from The Telegraph eludes that Rossi could be available for as little as £10million this summer.
At almost half the price of his market value, the Toffees could get a great deal for the forward.
With a current crop of impressive talent at the club, Rossi would provide some great depth for the Everton front line.
