Having completed a triple swoop for Demarai Gray, Andros Townsend and Asmir Begvoic, Everton are looking to Real Madrid for their next reinforcement.

According to a report from Fichajes, as shared by Everton fan page Everton Blue Army (@EvertonBlueArmy), young Brazilian winger Rodrygo is admired by Goodison Park chiefs.

The report claims that Real Madrid are looking to offload several first-team players this summer as they look to trim their squad.

The young Brazilian forward  could be in the firing line as a consequence with Everton interested in snapping up the forward at a knock-down price.

The Santos FC academy product followed a similar pathway to famous Santos product Neymar, joining a La Liga giant at a young age.

The 20-year-old was initially a prominent squad member in Zinedine Zidane’s plans but has found himself increasingly out of favour at the Bernabeu.

The original report claims that Benitez’ arrival at Goodison Park has ‘revolutionized the transfer market’ for the Toffees with ‘several requests’ being made on top of existing signings, with Rodrygo’s name being on that is hotly mentioned.

Rodrygo’s record is far from stupendously productive but is by no means something to be snubbed.

He has managed five goals and as many assists in 16 Champions League appearances, adding a further three goals and six assists in 41 La Liga outings.

Barely into his twenties, Rodrygo could represent a promising option that could explode in form under the right mentorship.

Seemingly made available by Madrid, Everton could secure reasonable value for money.
