Belgian Youngster’s Agent Expects Permanent Blues Deal

Everton look set to exercise their right to purchase on-loan Olympiakos winger David Henen, according to the Belgian youngster’s agent.

The talented forward impressed the Goodison hierarchy during his season-long loan spell on Merseyside, netting 9 goals in 19 matches for the Blues’ second-string.

Speaking to Belgian paper L’Avenir, agent Christophe Henrotay said: “He really changed beyond all recognition. The reports of his coach Roberto Martinez and Under-21 coach are very favorable. Both praise his mentality, his involvement and perfect integration.”

“I have to quickly meet Martinez,” added Henrotay. “But it’s all signals go in the direction of exercising the option.”

It is believed the Toffees can secure Henen for a fee in the region of £500,000 and will look to do so in the coming weeks.
