# Bolasie chased by trio – Are Everton asking for enough money?

Yannick Bolasie appears set to leave Everton this summer, with three clubs interested in taking the player away from Merseyside, [according to Goal](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/bolasie-set-for-everton-exit-with-three-clubs-competing-for/1k15x5d58iv1s1evb452vjdfia).

The DR Congo international has fallen down the pecking order at Goodison Park, mainly due to an unfortunate season ending injury in his first season in Blue, resulting in two loan spells with Aston Villa and Anderlecht last season.

Having fallen out of favour for Everton, the 30-year old looks set to leave, and he has a trio of interested suitors. Celtic, Rennes and Besiktas are all keen on bringing in Bolasie before the window closes, while the winger has already turned down a proposal from CSKA Moscow.

Moscow reportedly offered to take Bolasie on loan for the season with a £5million option to buy included, however the former Crystal Palace star turned the offer down, citing the recent racially-aggravated abuse directed toward new Zenit forward Malcom as a principle reason for not wanting to go to Russia.

Any club looking to take Bolasie on this summer will likely need to match that fee, while they will have to negotiate with Bolasie about reducing his £80,000-a-week salary.

### Read Everton Verdict

It’s definitely time that Bolasie found himself a new permanent home, and hopefully Everton can get a deal sorted this summer.

While Bolasie has never complained or kicked off, he simply isn’t up to the required standard anymore, and subsequently he needs to make way, having found himself far down the pecking order on Merseyside.

Yala still has ability that certain clubs will be able to make use of, but that isn’t likely to be the case at Goodison Park.
