# Chelsea keen on Tom Davies

Chelsea are interested in Everton midfielder Tom Davies, [according to a report in the Daily Mail.](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4736976/Antonio-Conte-wants-Alex-Oxlade-Chamberlain-Chelsea.html)

The report claims that Chelsea are keen on Davies, though it does not mention whether they are prepared to make a firm offer for the talented midfielder.

It does say, however, that a move for Davies would not come cheap and that he would be difficult to prize away from Everton.

Ronald Koeman will be eager to hang onto Davies, who is seen as one of the best young talents at the club.

The report also claims that Chelsea are considering an offer for Ross Barkley, who is on his way out of the club.

Everton value Barkley at £50m, though Chelsea are unlikely to match that with their initial offer.

Koeman has confirmed that he expects Barkley to depart before the end of the transfer window, with Tottenham and Manchester United among the clubs interested.
