# Defensive duo touted to leave again

The transfer window has only just closed, but John Stones and Seamus Coleman have already been linked with moves away from Everton in the winter window.

[PSG are set to reboot](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/psg-plan-new-transfer-bid-6389685?) their interest in Coleman while [Chelsea are preparing to place](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/john-stones-chelsea-transfer-saga-6388265) a fifth bid for Stones, according to the Mirror.

Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich were all linked with moves for Coleman in the summer, but having signed a long-term deal only last year it’s unlikely the Irishman will move anywhere.

The 26-year-old recently stated how happy he was at Goodison Park and is unlikely to try and engineer a move away from the club that paid just £60,000 for his services almost a decade ago.

On the other hand, John Stones is interested in a move away from Goodison Park.

The 21-year-old submitted a transfer request in order to push through a move to Premier League champions Chelsea, who have had four bids for the defender rejected by the Toffeemen.

Everton see Stones, who signed a five-year-deal with the Merseysiders only last summer, as a key component to their future and will resist any bid that may come their way in January.

Both stories from the Mirror seem to be recycled from around a week or so ago, but can the Blues keep Coleman and Stones past this summer, or even this winter?
