# €35m asking price could see Everton miss out on Brazilian midfielder

Brazilian midfielder Rafinha could stay at Barcelona beyond the summer transfer window, despite reported interest from Everton and Tottenham.

[According to reports from GloboEsporte, as cited on Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/dal-brasile-rafinha-puo-restare-al-barcellona-per-due-ragioni-36746), the Brazilian may not be on the move after all, with Barcelona demanding a fee believed to be in the region of €35 million.

With the La Liga champions looking to trim their wage bill and recoup some funds, Rafinha has been one of the many names linked with a move away.

The likes of Andre Gomes, Yerry Mina, Marlon Santos and Paco Alcacer are all expected to be moved on throughout the summer.

He spent time on loan at Inter last season and impressed in Italy, but they opted against buying him permanently.

It is believed that Financial Fair Play restrictions stopped any chances of a permanent move to Inter.

The report also claims that Rafinha may still have a role to play at the Nou Camp.
