# Everton 2-2 Wolves: Five Things We Learned

Well, that was pretty positive!

Everton began their season with a well fought, hard contested 2-2 draw with newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers, and despite going down to ten men in the first half, Everton were arguably the better side.

Richarlison opened his Everton goalscoring account on his debut for the club, scoring twice while Rúben Neves and Raúl Jiminéz both equalised for the home side.
