Everton 3-0 Newcastle United: Player Ratings

Everton claimed their first home win in the Premier League since November with a comfortable 3-0 victory over a struggling Newcastle United.

Aaron Lennon opened the scoring in the first-half and Ross Barkley’s two late penalties ensured the points stayed on Merseyside.

The Blues were also denied by the woodwork on three occasions and looked solid throughout, Joel Robles was rarely troubled by Steve McClaren’s men, who looked brittle in confidence and low on real quality.
