# Everton 4-0 West Ham – Everton Player Ratings

Who wouldn’t have thought we’d win 4-0? Always on the cards.

On a day where Sam Allardyce was announced as Everton manager, we needed something positive, and we got far more than we asked for. It came in the form of a renaissance performance by Wayne Rooney.

Actually, it was a throwback performance by everyone out there tonight, I can’t fault a single player at all. They all played their part and the romantic in me hopes they all played for Unsworth. Cause he deserved it, and he deserves so, so much more.

From Pickford to Calvert-Lewin, everyone played their part in what needs to be a turning point for Everton. We started slowly but grew into the game. It was never an easy ride but Wayne Rooney’s wonder strike sealed the game, just after Pickford’s excellent penalty save.

I sincerely hope Unsworth will be back at the helm sometime soon, with a dressing room who will respect him and with backing from the board.

It was a phenomenal performance, and it included at least 3 players having their best game in a blue shirt.

Let’s find out who.
