Everton 4-0 Yeovil Town: Player Ratings

Goals from Aaron Lennon, Ross Barkley and a late brace from Arouna Kone gave Everton a comfortable 4-0 win over League Two side Yeovil Town, although the scoreline probably flattered the home side somewhat.

The Blues will find themselves in the pot for the Third Round of the EFL Cup, and new boss Ronald Koeman clearly has ambitions to win the competition after selecting a pretty strong team to face The Glovers.

Romelu Lukaku started his first game of the season and played a full 90 minutes, which is a huge boost for the Blues heading into the weekend’s game against Stoke City.

There were also a start for new-boys Ashley Williams and Yannick Bolasie, both of whom got warm receptions from the Goodison faithful.
