Everton have confirmed Davy Klaassen as their second signing of the summer, following Jordan Pickford’s £30million transfer earlier today.
Klaassen joins the Toffees for €27million (£23.5million) from Dutch giants Ajax, signing a five-year deal with the club.

Klaassen had been linked with a move to Merseyside for the past month, with fellow Dutchman Ronald Koeman said to be a big fan of the former Ajax captain.
The Liverpool Echo reported that Klaassen had been at USM Finch Farm earlier this afternoon for a medical ahead of completing his move to Goodison Park, with personal terms and a transfer fee already agreed.
The Dutch international joins after leading his team to second place in the Eredivisie and the Europa League final last season.
Klaassen’s fee puts him level with Yannick Bolasie as Everton’s joint third most expensive player of all time, behind Romelu Lukaku and new boy Pickford.
