# Everton considering €20m move for Uruguay international

Everton are the latest team to express an interest in Diego Laxalt, who has attracted interest from the likes of West Ham and Bournemouth.

According to reports from [Tuttosport, as cited on Calciomercato](https://www.calciomercato.com/news/genoa-anche-il-torino-rilancia-su-laxalt-97425), Everton are among teams considering moves for the player who was one of Uruguay’s best performers at the World Cup.

Despite previously being known to play a more attacking role, Laxalt starred for Uruguay in the role of an attacking left-sided defender.

There is also European interest with Valencia, Galatasaray, Marseille and Benfica all interested in a potential deal.

Torino are also believed to be very keen on signing the player after his impressive showing in Russia.

Genoa are said to be asking for a fee in the region of €20 million for the Uruguayan international, with interest mounting from across the continent.

A host of names have been linked with moves to Goodison Park this summer as Marco Silva searches for reinforcement in wide areas.
