# Everton could pounce for League One star after impressive season

Everton are being linked with a surprise move for Gillingham Town’s Tomas Holy, who is also attracting interest from Arsenal, Palace and West Ham.

[As per a report from the Mirror, as cited on the Yorkshire Post](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/who-tomas-holy-meet-giant-13000991), a number of Premier League sides are keeping tabs on the player.

Holy, who stands at an impressive 6ft 9in, enjoyed a successful campaign with Gillingham last season.

The 26-year-old has emerged as a surprise target for Everton who could look to add an experienced third-choice goalkeeper to their ranks.

Joel Robles left the club earlier this summer and Holy could be someone to push both Jordan Pickford and Maarten Stekelenburg.

Holy joined the League One outfit back in January 2017 from Sparta Prague and has gone on to become a hit with the fans there.

After originally only being signed as competition for the club’s number one, he would go on to make the spot his own.
