# Everton draw Watford in Carabao Cup fourth round – Fan Reactions

Everton have drawn with Watford in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, with the fixture to be played at Goodison Park in late October.

The Toffees beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 in the third round of the competition, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin scoring a brace against his childhood team’s rivals.

Everton and Watford are one of five all Premier League ties in the fourth round of the cup, meaning that should Everton progress, they could have a decent chance at further progression with other big teams certain to be on the way out.

Two of Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea will be exiting the tournament, with the four playing one another.

Everton have already beaten Watford once this season, with Bernard scoring the sole goal in a 1-0 win over the Hornets on Merseyside.

Plenty of fans on social media have been reacting in mixed ways to the return of the ‘Marco Silva Derby’, with Watford and Everton sharing a bit of hostility in recent years.

### Read Everton Verdict

I’m relatively pleased with that draw, considering how difficult it could have been. Everton have beaten Watford this season already, which gives me confidence, and playing at home is a huge strength.

Of course, there is a large chance that Everton could slip up against the Hornets. Tensions run high when we play them, and they are a Premier League outfit, who will undoubtedly have more talent that Sheffield Wednesday.

However, I have enough confidence in the players at the club to do the business on the day. It all boils down to which Everton team turns up on the day.
