Kurt Zouma’s opened the scoring for Everton, with the French defender towering above his opposing number to head home Lucas Digne’s floated cross at the near post just after the hour mark.
Despite a tense final few minutes, Dominic Calvert-Lewin slotted home following a strong run and timed pass from Ademola Lookman, securing the three points for the home side.
