# Everton Player Ratings: Manchester United (H)

Everton were well beaten by Manchester United at Goodison Park this evening, with the visitors coming away with a 2-0 win.

Sam Allardyce made several changes to the side that lost 2-1 to Bournemouth on Saturday and unfortunately, his approach failed to pay dividends as United put them to the sword.

It was a highly competitive first half with chances coming at a premium, but the game burst into life after the interval.

Anthony Martial drew first blood for the visitors as he converted the opener. His curling effort from just outside the box handed United the advantage in some style, it has to be said.

The Red Devils doubled their advantage following an onslaught of Everton pressure, with Jesse Lingard the man who finished a well-worked United attack in brilliant fashion.

It was a day to forget for Everton, who simply didn’t do enough on the day. Here are our player ratings for the Toffees.
