# Everton Predicted XI: Leicester (H)

Everton are looking to start the second half of their Premier League season in style as they host Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City tonight.

The clash at Goodison Park will be the Toffees’ [first in the league](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-everton/spielplandatum/verein/29) since their 2-1 victory over Wolves a fortnight ago, having enjoyed a 3-0 FA Cup win over Sheffield Wednesday last weekend.

Having [won the reverse fixture 2-0](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/spielbericht/index/spielbericht/3421797) at the King Power Stadium last month, Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping his gameplan can keep the Toffees tasting sweet victory as they eye a potential move into the top four.

Ancelotti spoke yesterday of his side’s ambitions to play in the Champions League.[Asked](https://www.skysports.com/transfer-centre) whether he missed the competition, the Italian said:

> Personally? Yes. I think the Champions League is the best competition in the world and as I said when I arrived here, to bring Everton to games in the Champions League is a fantastic motivation for me.

> This is the target we have for the future. I don’t know how long it will take for this but I hope soon we will be able to play games in the Champions League.

Three points [could take the Toffees fourth](https://www.premierleague.com/tables) for 24 hours at least, with Liverpool and Tottenham playing each other tomorrow night.
