# Everton reportedly close to landing Brazilian winger

Everton are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Richarlison from Watford.

According to claims from the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5975375/Everton-close-signing-Richarlison-Watford-deal-worth-50m.html), the Toffees are close to sealing a transfer for Richarlison which could end up costing them a huge figure of £50m.

The Hornets winger enjoyed a strong debut campaign in the Premier League but failed to score after November as he encountered struggles with inconsistencies throughout the season.

Richarlison enjoyed a strong working relationship with Marco Silva and it seems the new Everton boss is desperate to land the 21-year-old ahead of his first season at Goodison Park.

The Toffees have not yet signed a player during the summer transfer window but are believed to be keen on adding to their options on the flanks.

Richarlison has been linked with a move to Merseyside for some time now and if the Daily Mail are to be believed, Everton are set to finally capitalise on their interest with a big-money swoop.
