# Everton scouts admits to being an admirer of Arkadiusz Milik

Everton scout Carlo Jacomuzzi has admitted he is a keen admirer of Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik.

The Toffees have been linked with the Poland international on a number of occasions in the past, even as recently as last January, with the forward having scored 20 goals for the Partenopei last season.

Everton are struggling to provide a consistent threat up front this season, with Moise Kean still yet to score and Dominic Calvert-Lewin finding his form inconsistent, leading to calls for the club to pursue a forward in January.

Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli ([via Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/everton-scout-makes-clear-hes-big-fan-serie-striker/)), Jacomuzzi was full of praise for the former Ajax man, waxing lyrical about the 25-year old’s ability. Jacomuzzi said:

> In the second goal Milik \[against Hellas Verona\] demonstrated the goalscorer’s instinct.
>
> The Poland international has always been considered a great striker. Napoli needs all the players to stay there fighting with Inter and Juventus.

While Jacomuzzi’s may have just made an off-the-cuff comment, could Everton consider Milik as an option in January?

Arkadiusz Milik would be a terrific signing for Everton as he would represent a legitimate No.9 who would immediately inject quality into the club’s ranks, with his goalscoring record speaking for itself, although unfortunately he isn’t a realistic target.

As Jacomuzzi mentioned, Napoli hope to compete with Inter Milan and Juventus for the Serie A title this season, particularly with the Bianconeri not at their best, and they will need all hands on deck if they are to do so.

If Napoli were to be convinced into selling Milik, it would likely be beyond Everton’s price range.
