# Everton star closing in on loan switch away from the club

Yannick Bolasie appears to be closing in on a season-long loan move away from Everton this summer.

The DR Congo international has been heavily linked with an exit from Goodison Park and according to [claims from the Turkish media](https://www.fanatik.com.tr/2018/07/13/ada-da-kanat-hazirligi-1383891), a deal is close to being completed as he heads to Fenerbahce.

Bolasie has long been linked with the Super Lig giants, with [earlier reports](https://readeverton.com/2018/07/07/everton-receive-1-3m-loan-offer-from-turkish-giants-for-winger/) suggesting that Fenerbahce were willing to pay a loan fee of £1.3 million to convince Everton to temporarily part ways with the winger.

The 29-year-old, who Everton signed for a fee believed to be in excess of £25 million from Crystal Palace in 2016, has struggled with injuries in recent times and it seems Marco Silva deems him surplus to requirements for the season ahead.

[Fanatik’s report](https://www.fanatik.com.tr/2018/07/13/ada-da-kanat-hazirligi-1383891) indicates that Bolasie, along with Swansea City star Andre Ayew, is close to joining Fenerbahce, with the agreement of personal terms set to be little more than a formality.
