# Everton tracking Lille starlet Martin Terrier

Signing promising young players has always been something Everton have looked to do and that;s become even more paramount under Ronald Koeman.

After signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the summer and handing him a chance in the first-team, Koeman also welcomed Charlton teenage Ademola Lookman to the club but he’s got his eyes on another young striker.

According to French source [L’Equipe](https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/L-angleterre-aime-le-lillois-martin-terrier/767900), Lille’s talented forward Martin Terrier has been scouted by Everton this season, along with fellow Premier League outfit West Ham and Serie A side Fiorentina.

The 19-year-old attacker signed his first professional contract back in the summer and made his debut for the Ligue 1 during a 2-1 win over Bastia back in October. Terrier has made eight appearances for Lille this season and scored his first goal for the club in a 4-1 win over AS Excelsior last week.

Able to play either on the winger or as a central striker, Terrier is one of the best young prospects in French football currently and would be a great addition to a Toffees squad which already possesses a lot of young talent.
