# Everton v Leicester – My Eleven

Here we go.

The FA Cup finally kicks off this weekend for Everton, and we’ll be in it to win it this time, with any luck. Last season was a significant disappointment, especially in the Cup Semi-Final, which ended up being Martinez’ last significant game in charge of the club. He was sacked after slumping to 2 defeats at Leicester and Sunderland. For the better.

Still, though, the FA Cup is a special competition to us. As we are a bastion of English Football, the FA Cup has been there with us, all the way. We’ve won it 5 times, I think the saying goes? It’s about time to make it six, been too long, hasn’t it.

We need to take every game fully seriously. At risk of sounding like a cliché, every game is a Cup Final. Koeman knows the importance of the cup to Everton fans, he’s starting to understand the club.

Go for it. And go strong.

All together now.
