# Everton v Newcastle – My Everton XI

We go into the game after winning the Anfield derby 1-1. Or as some Reds would have it, as Everton lifted the World Cup.

We still haven’t won an away game since January in the league and everyone seems to be hammering home that point. However, we’re a revitalised team and those poor results, all but the most recent few, have come with Ronald Koeman as manager. His away record was obviously abysmal and seeing as he had the motivating ability of a broken boiler at half six in the morning, that record wasn’t ending anytime soon.

However, we now have Sam Allardyce in charge who, in his short time at the club so far, has managed three wins and one draw with 10 goals scored and one conceded, and as a bonus, has managed to finally make Jürgen Norbert Klopp’s head hit the floor.

So he’s already the most successful manager in Everton’s history. I hope his time here is as long as the balls that Williams was launching and that his time is as filled with as fun a time as watching Jürgen Norbert Klopp’s post-match presser.

And we start with a trip to his old stomping ground.
