# Everton vs MK Dons – Four things we learned

Although still very early in pre-season for the Blues, it’s so far so good for Ronald Koeman as Everton beat MK Dons 3-1 for their second win in 4 days. A laughable goal from Gerard Deulofeu and a second in as many games for Ross Barkley gave the Blues the thoroughly deserved win as well as Mo Besic’s first ever goal for the Toffees in the final minutes. The goals were separated by a thunderbolt from the MK Dons however that doesn’t take anything away from what was a very good performance from the Blues.

Although the goals for Everton came at the start and the end of the game, Everton dominated proceedings due to the amazing one touch passing and the high- pressure game which we rarely saw at Goodison under Roberto Martinez.

Despite conceding, all looks very good for Ronald Koeman as they head into the new season starting in just over 2 weeks time.

But what can we learn from tonight’s win?
