# Everton vs. Norwich – Predicted XI

So, we go again in the EFL Cup against Norwich. Again, we don’t really know what team Koeman will put out, but we know for certain that Romelu Lukaku won’t be involved in it. He picked up a knock against Middlesbrough.

We heard today that Darron Gibson has had to have an operation on his thigh, not that he’d be anywhere near the matchday squad anyway, but at least we’ve had an update that he’s alive.

Other than that, I expect a few changes but not enough that Norwich may have a chance.

We played Norwich last year in the cup when they were still in the Premier League and we still had Naismith in our ranks. We barely scraped through that, relying on penalties to settle it. I don’t think it’ll be that bad this year.

Let’s have a look at who I think will get a run-out and my Key Man for the game…
