# My Everton XI: Manchester United (A)

This week has produced a deluge of sour emotions emanating from an ever rising, up-in-arms blue tide.

As an eternally-unfortunate soul, I’ll preach to a few of the mob about who I’d put out at Old Trafford. However a performance akin to Atalanta and that Everton side is facing a last stand. As Koeman marches on precarious footing, the Everton first-team faces down a difficult challenge in order to regain the Gwladys trust.

Ronald Koeman is under mounting pressure after just 2 months of the season, and it is most certainly not unjustified. He is a failing manager with a mounting ego, and it has to be sorted soon, as if current trajectory prevails above common sense, then Koeman won’t even have another transfer window to bring us from the jaws of death.

In accordance with that reality, swerve the first team. At least the problems.

That was too poetic for a Friday night however, but I’m nothing if not a wordsmith. Except a bit of a nark.
