# Italy U21 coach praises Kean’s professionalism despite speculation

Italy Under-21s coach Paolo Nicolato claims that Moise Kean has only exuded professionalism on international duty, despite increasing speculation over his future.

The 19-year was left out of Everton’s last game against Southampton due to the striker having been late to a team meeting, and while the Toffees don’t have long-term concerns over Kean’s attitude, many media outlets claim that the Blues will soon look to get rid.

Roma, Milan and Sampdoria have all been linked with potential loan offers to bring Kean back to Italy, while the player’s estranged father has called on his son to move to Roma in January.

Despite all of this talk and speculation, Kean has remained professional and resolute through, with Nicolato saying he has been perfect while with the Italian youth squad.

[As reported by Football Italia](https://www.football-italia.net/146597/nicolato-kean-perfect-u21s), Nicolato said:

> At his age it’s not easy with this pressure.
>
> He was perfect over the last few days.
>
> It is not easy to manage all this interest, this pressure. But within the group he is doing well.

### Read Everton Verdict

It is no surprise to me that Kean has acted with professionalism while on international duty, because if recent reports are to be believed, he has a strong professional attitude anyway.

Despite his recent tardiness in team meetings, Everton were revealed to not have treated that situation as a big deal, with the club believing him to be a committed and determined member of their squad.

Ultimately it is the rampant media machine that is attempting to facilitate a transfer for Kean that has forced Nicolato to come out with his comments. Whether Kean does leave in January or not, I’m glad to hear that his professionalism and attitude isn’t in doubt.
