# Kean sent off for Italy U21s – Fan Reactions

Moise Kean was sent off for Italy Under-21s last night during their game against Republic of Ireland Under-21s.

The 19-year old was given his marching orders for aggressively shoving Troy Parrott, after the Tottenham striker first pushed him after the referee’s whistle had blown.

Parrott was also sent off for his troubles, receiving a second yellow card, while Kean was slapped with a straight red.

The former Juventus man has struggled to find his footing this season, having so far failed to score for Everton since his high profile summer switch.

The striker was considered to be a potential candidate for the signing of the summer award, but he hasn’t as of yet lived up to expectations.

Many Everton fans reacted to the sending off on social media, raising points about the refereeing, Kean seeing red and Parrott’s attempt to deceive the officials.

### Read Everton Verdict

At least Kean is showing some passion, right?

It hasn’t been a good start to the season for the forward, and the fact that he isn’t with the senior Italian team is a clear indicator of that. Maybe Kean’s frustrations in this game also reflect his frustrations at Everton, but it could also be that he was having a tough time in that game.

The 19-year old needs to get back scoring desperately, for both Everton’s sake and his own.
