# Kyiv defender snubs Everton

Everton target Yevhen Khacheridi has reportedly snubbed the opportunity to join the Toffees after the Ukraine international revealed that he is in search of a “bigger club” to join, according to [di Marzio](https://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/eng/dynamo-kievs-khacheridi-could-go-to-premier-league-despite-refusing-everton/).

The Dynamo Kyiv defender is interested in a move away from the Ukrainian giants in the near future with the Premier League being his preferred choice of move, but the experienced centre-back is reportedly holding out for a club he perceives to be larger.

The 28-year-old was a target of Everton boss Roberto Martinez as he looks to bolster his defensive options ahead of the second half of the season, however it looks as though the Spaniard will have to look elsewhere.

Khacheridi has been a key figure for Kyiv in the last few years, helping them to success in the Champions League this season as he was part of their side that saw off reigning Premier League champions Chelsea to progress into the last 16.
