Leicester 0-2 Everton: Player Ratings

Everton stumbled to their first win in five away fixtures with a 2-0 win over Premier League champions Leicester City.

The Toffees entered the game off the back of four straight away defeats, with Ronald Koeman and his players hoping to put that right for the travelling Blues.

They went some way to doing that when Kevin Mirallas reacted first to a goalkick from Joel Robles, running through on goal and finishing beyond Kasper Schmeichel with the help of a deflection.

Leicester pushed on for the equaliser and nearly found it through Leonardo Ulloa but his header was straight at goalkeeper Joel Robles.

Idrissa Gueye had a chance to put the game beyond the Foxes after a cross from Romelu Lukaku left the ball on a plate for the Senegalese international but he put his shot over the bar when it was harder to miss.

Lukaku then sealed the game in the dying minutes of the fixture, running the channel and being Wes Morgan to the ball, ran through on goal and finished expertly past Schmeichel.

Everton face Hull City next as they look to turn around their fortunes.

Regardless, here are our player ratings!

matchday.
