# Lukaku targeting top four finish

Everton forward Romelu Lukaku has [recently](https://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35132800) discussed how he feels about Everton’s form this season and has said a top four finish is not beyond the realms of possibility for Roberto Martinez’s men.

The powerful Belgian striker has been in unstoppable form this season, bagging 12 goals in just 16 league games for The Toffees, proving to be a pivotal part in their rise up the league table so far this campaign.

Everton find themselves only six points adrift of the top four, but Lukaku is feeling confident about his side’s chances this season as their impressive displays this campaign continue to stand out.

The £28million man has scored 28 goals in 2015 alone, but admits he wants his strikes to propel the Toffees higher:

> I wish that all those goals brought us a bit closer to the top four. It’s very realistic (Everton finishing in the CL spots)

> The teams that you don’t expect to be up there are getting stronger.

However, Lukaku will face one of his toughest challenges this season yet as his Everton side prepare to take on high-flying, giant killing Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
