# Fabrizio Romano confirms Everton’s £31.5m-rated striker has joined Juventus on two-year loan

The transfer window has been an interesting one for Everton and Rafa Benitez.

Additions [including](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-everton/transfers/verein/29/saison_id/2021) Demarai Gray, Andros Townsend, and Asmir Begovic have offered some clever depth.

Gray has hit the ground running for the Toffees, with [two goals in his first three games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/demarai-gray/leistungsdaten/spieler/292417) for the club.

However, there has also been a number of departures from Goodison this summer too.

The latest comes in the form of Italian youngster Moise Kean, who has rejoined Juventus on a two-year loan.

It was confirmed this morning by [Fabrizio Romano](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1432606068924948480) and [Juventus](https://twitter.com/juventusfcen/status/1432603211064561669) that the 21-year-old had departed…

Kean [signed for Everton](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/moise-kean/transfers/spieler/364135/transfer_id/2588686) back in the summer of 2019 for just under £25million from the Old Lady.

However, his time on Merseyside did not quite go to plan, with him [managing just](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/moise-kean/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/364135) 39 appearances and 4 goals.

Most of those appearances came from the bench, with him spending [last season on loan](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/moise-kean/transfers/spieler/364135/transfer_id/3087289) at PSG.

His time in France was much more positive, and lead many fans to believe he may get his chance for the Toffees.

[17 goals from 41 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/moise-kean/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/364135) proved that Kean is perfectly capable at the top level, just not for Everton.

Despite this, the club have still kept him on the boos, with him joining Juventus on a two-year loan deal.

Whether this means the club still has potential plans for Kean in the future is unknown.

These next two years will prove pivotal for the 21-year-old and the path his career may or may not take at Everton.
