As Ronald Koeman and Antonio Conte look to be beginning to make their mark on their respective sides, we look at some of the players in Chelsea’s squad that Everton will need to be wary of, ahead of today’s clash.
Everton lie in sixth place with 18 points from their opening ten games. Chelsea meanwhile, sit two places above the Toffees, with an additional four points to their name.
The last round of Premier League fixtures saw both sides achieve a 2-0 victory over their respective opponents. Everton sent West Ham on their journey back to London with a bitter taste, scoring through Ross Barkley and of course, the man West Ham hate oh so much, Romelu Lukaku. Chelsea’s goals came from their two men in form, Diego Costa and Eden Hazard, as they pushed aside Southampton.
So here we look at the three Chelsea players who could prove to be the biggest thorns in Everton’s proverbial side, and the one player who will be of most value to Ronald Koeman’s side if Everton are to emerge from the dust with all three points secure.
