# Opposition Danger Men: Liverpool

Well then, last Tuesday was a surprise.

I think it’s safe to say, no one saw that coming. 2-1 against an Arsenal side who had only lost on one other occasion this season before the game at Goodison Park.

Possibly the game this season of which I was most confident Everton would lose, the players seemingly discovered some fight that had previously been non-existent and rose to the occasion, much to the jubilation of the Everton faithful.

It was certainly a shock to the system, though, especially considering the alarming statistic that emerged prior to kick-off, that Everton had lost to Arsenal more times than any other side has lost to another side in the history of English league football.

Hopefully, the players will now know what they need to do against Liverpool this coming Monday. After all, all we ask is for the players to show some fight. Anyway, onwards with the danger men business.

Here we look at the three Liverpool players who could prove to be the biggest thorns in Everton’s proverbial side and the one player who will be of most value to Ronald Koeman’s side if Everton are to emerge from the dust with all three points secure.

Let us know down below who you think Everton’s most important player will be.
