# Pardew confirms Bolasie close to Everton move

It looks like Yannick Bolasie’s transfer to Everton will go through, as Palace manager [Alan Pardew says that](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/alan-pardew-expects-yannick-bolasie-crystal-palace-exit-his-heart-and-soul-is-elsewhere-a3319456.html) he will say his goodbyes to the winger and that ‘his heart and soul are elsewhere’.

It has been widely reported in the last week that Everton will beat their record fee to sign the Congolese man for £30m, £2m more than they paid for Romelu Lukaku, who has been touted with a valuation of £75m this summer for any potential suitors. Palace, who will receive their record sale with Bolasie’s exit, look to be using the money to sign Liverpool’s Christian Benteke as they look to improve their striking situation, with only Connor Wickham in that role.

This transfer comes in a turbulent week for the blues in which they also received their record sale fee as John Stones completed his transfer to Manchester City for 47.5m. Ronald Koeman has also been reportedly feeling out Juan Mata and Joe Hart’s situations at United and City respectively, as he looks to enter the Blues into a new era filled with high-profile players and backed up by a youthful, flair-filled spine.

With three weeks left of the window, Koeman has said that he would like four new players and with many tantalising names linked, would you like Bolasie, blues?
