# Schneiderlin denies being sent home from training

Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has taken to Twitter to deny [reports](https://readeverton.com/2017/11/06/schneiderlin-and-mirallas-walked-out-of-training/) claiming that he was sent home from training.

The France international has been in poor form for Everton this season, and there have been claims made recently that caretaker boss David Unsworth has been unimpressed with his work rate in training.

This apparently led to both Schneiderlin and his teammate Kevin Mirallas being sent home from training on Saturday, with Unsworth delivering them an ultimatum – work harder or leave.

However, Schneiderlin has reiterated his commitment to the cause at Goodison Park, and has slammed the reports questioning his training levels in recent times.

The ex-Manchester United man has struggled to impact games positively this season. He was recently sent off in Everton’s 3-0 defeat away to Lyon in the Europa League, and was subsequently excluded from the matchday squad that defeated Watford at the weekend.

Schneiderlin will now need to step up in order to force his way back into the club’s plans.
