# Schneiderlin hails young talent Baningime’s attitude to learning

Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has admitted he has been impressed by young talent Beni Baningime this season.

The 19-year old midfielder is enjoying a breakout debut season at Goodison Park, having long been held in high regard at the club.

The DR Congo-born Baningime has played in 12 games for the senior side this season, and he has seemingly left a good impression on teammate Schneiderlin.

The Frenchman claimed to be impressed by Baningime’s willingness to learn and improve among other things, hailing his attitude. Talking to the [club’s official website](https://www.evertonfc.com/evertontv/archive/2018/04/18/schneiderlin-praises-baningime-attitude), the former Southampton and Manchester United enforcer said;

> He is learning and what I like with Beni is, every day, he asks things. He asks how he can improve and he listens to us.

> Sometimes you have young players and you tell them something and it goes in one ear and out of the other. With Beni, I think he picks up on what we say and where he can improve.

> He is a very good footballer. You can see that he’s not scared to tackle, he’s not scared to get on the ball and he likes to play forward.

After a while away from the match-day squad, Baningime has come on as a substitute in Everton’s previous three games and is expected to appear in the match-day squad again against Newcastle on Monday.

With only a few games to go until the season concludes, Schneiderlin hopes to see Beni receive even more action. He continued;

> I like this type of player. Hopefully, he can have a few games from now until the end of the season and progress every year.
