# Silva hopeful of swift Schneiderlin return

Morgan Schneiderlin could hand Everton and Marco Silva a huge boost with the latter hopeful the player’s injury is not too serious.

[As reported by the Liverpool Echo](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/everton-manager-marco-silva-hopes-15048284), Silva explains that what is believed to be a muscle injury for the Frenchman, only appears to be a ‘small problem’.

> It is still really early to say anymore about that but it looks a small problem in his muscle but we have to wait a few more hours to be right about it.

The midfielder was forced off during the first half against Southampton over the weekend and was replaced by Tom Davies.

Schneiderlin has impressed during the early stages of Marco Silva’s time at the club, playing a big role in the middle of the park.

Silva will be hoping to have Schneiderlin back in time for the trip to Bournemouth at the weekend.

Everton will be looking to make it two wins from three as they face Eddie Howe’s men, who themselves will come into the game full of confidence after beating West Ham.
