# Tosun set for Besiktas move

Cenk Tosun will reportedly move back to Besiktas when the January transfer window opens.

[According to Turkish outlet MyNet, as cited on TalkSPORT](https://talksport.com/football/431111/everton-transfer-news-cenk-tosun-besiktas-premier-league/), the Turkish forward will seek a return to his former side after failing to impress at Everton.

Besiktas are in the market for a striker following the departure of Alvaro Negredo and have been linked with a move to sign Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud.

Fellow Everton forward Oumar Niasse has also been linked with a move to Turkey, but it seems that Tosun could be the man they turn to, with Giroud unlikely to pursue a move.

Besiktas have struggled to replace Tosun following his move away from the club, but they have been very open about the idea of a potential return to the club in the future.

Tosun arrived at Goodison Park back in January for £27 million but has failed to live up to expectations at the club.
