# Traore signs for Villa

Rumoured Everton target Adama Traore has signed a three-year-deal with Aston Villa, according to AS.

The La Masia prodigy was heralded as a future star at the Camp Nou and had been around the fringes of the first-team, but after a poor second-half of the season for Barca B he was not included in the senior team’s pre-season set-up.

Strong, quick and agile, Traore has been courted by a number of Premier League clubs including Liverpool, Stoke City and Everton, who have already signed one Barca youth star this summer in Gerard Deulofeu.

Everton and Stoke City in particular enjoy close relationships with the Catalonian giants, but the affiliations didn’t help their attempts to sign the starlet.

Traore has signed a three-year-contract with the option for a fourth at Villa Park, much like Deulofeu who signed a similar deal at Goodison.

It remains to be seen whether Barcelona have any buy-back clauses in the deal but it’s a real coup for Tim Sherwood and another rumoured target lost for Roberto Martinez.

Everton have also been linked with other Barca youngster such as Alen Halilovic and Sergi Roberto during the summer, but their interest hasn’t yet resulted in a formal bid.
