# Virals: Everton have ‘tested the waters’ for Ivan Perisic signing

[Everton](https://readeverton.com/2021/11/18/virals-everton-striker-salomon-rondon-wanted-by-chased-by-sivasspor/) have reportedly ‘tested the waters’ to gauge the possibility of singing Inter Milan attacking midfielder Ivan Perisic.

The 32-year-old Croatian international is [out of contract](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-perisic/profil/spieler/42460) at the end of the season and is likely to leave the Serie A giants.

According to a report from [L’Interista](https://www.linterista.it/primo-piano/l-interista-perisic-addio-a-giugno-sondaggio-milan-piace-a-roma-e-everton-26017), as cited by [Sport Witness](https://twitter.com/Sport_Witness) on Twitter, the Toffees are one of the leading protagonists to place an enquiry.

The report claims that ‘in the last few hours’ Everton – along with AC Milan and Roma – have made contact regarding the [111 times capped](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-perisic/nationalmannschaft/spieler/42460/verein_id/3556) star.

Despite seemingly facing the final months of a two-year spell at the San Siro, Pericis has [scored twice and provided one assist](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-perisic/leistungsdaten/spieler/42460) in 14 appearances this season.

### READ EVERTON VERDICT

Still valued at £9million ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-perisic/marktwertverlauf/spieler/42460)), Everton should be all over signing the versatile Croatian for nothing.

Boasting a 515 game career and a [host](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ivan-perisic/erfolge/spieler/42460) of titles, Perisic would add vital experience and star presence to the Goodison Park squad.

Hailed as [‘fantastic’](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/988261/Man-Utd-transfer-news-Jose-Mourinho-Croatia-World-Cup-Ivan-Perisic-rumours-gossip) by former Inter boss Jose Mourinho, Blues’ boss Rafa Benitez would no doubt relish the opportunity to work with the experienced ace.
