# Virals: Everton interested in Shakhtar Donetsk star Manor Solomon

[Everton](https://readeverton.com/2021/10/29/journalist-claims-everton-are-quite-keen-on-january-move-for-epl-outcast/) are reportedly among a number of clubs interested in Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Solomon.

The 22-year-old Israel international has been attracting admirers from across Europe following a string of [impressive displays](https://www.sofascore.com/player/manor-solomon/862223) in the UEFA Champions League and domestically.

Solomon joined Shakhtar in 2019 for £5.4million ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manor-solomon/transfers/spieler/396638)) and has since [scored 20 times in 97 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manor-solomon/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/396638) for the Ukrainian top-flight club.

According to a report from [TeamTalk](https://www.teamtalk.com/manchester-city/exclusive-arsenal-tottenham-manor-solomon-transfer-interest), as cited by [Fotbolltransfers.com](https://twitter.com/ftransfers) on Twitter has claimed the Toffees are keen on the Israeli.

### READ EVERTON VERDICT

Valued at £18million and under contract in Ukraine until 2023 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manor-solomon/marktwertverlauf/spieler/396638)), any move for the exciting forward would likely be an expensive one.

However, having sold Bernard in the summer there is [space for an additional winger](https://www.evertonfc.com/teams/first-team) in the Goodison Park ranks.

Capable of [operating on either wing](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manor-solomon/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/396638) and as a focal point, Rafa Benitez would no doubt love to welcome a player of Solomon’s versatility in the Everton squad.
