# Virals: Everton star Richarlison reportedly wanted by EPL rivals

[Everton](https://readeverton.com/2021/12/03/virals-ac-milan-considering-move-for-everton-star-yerry-mina/) forward Richarlison has reportedly attracted the interest of Premier League rivals Arsenal.

The 24-year-old Brazilian [scored against the Gunners](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k12E-6OpDJg) whilst also having two efforts ruled out for marginal VAR offside calls on Monday night at Goodison Park.

It seems that display as well as an [upturn in form](https://www.sofascore.com/player/richarlison/840217) since returning from injury has piqued the interest of the North London club.

That’s according to a report from Spanish outlet *[Fichajes](https://www.fichajes.net/noticias/arsenal-piensa-richarlison-salidas-lacazette-aubameyang-20211208.html)*, as cited by [Vai-e-Vem-Futebol](https://twitter.com/vaievem_futebol)on Twitter.

The report claims that Mikel Arteta will ‘think’ of the [six-cap](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/richarlison/leistungsdaten/spieler/378710) Brazil ace as a replacement for Alexandre Lacazette or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

So far this season Richarlison has [scored three times and added two assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/richarlison/leistungsdaten/spieler/378710) in 10 outings for the Toffees.

### READ EVERTON VERDICT

Valued at £49.5million and under contract on Merseyside until 2024 ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/richarlison/marktwertverlauf/spieler/378710)), the club would be looking for bids way in excess of the [£50million expenditure](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44946473).

However, at present with Rafa Benitez’s squad only now recovering from dire straights on the injury front, selling [prized assets](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/everton/marktwertanalyse/verein/29) should be nowhere near the agenda.

Instead, Everton must be looking to add [star quality to the ranks](https://www.evertonfc.com/teams/first-team) to supplement the likes of Richarlison and ultimately allow the Brazilian to thrive as a Blue.
