# Virals: Fabrizio Romano confirms Everton striker to join Juventus

The future of [Everton](https://readeverton.com/2021/08/28/virals-andros-townsend-comments-on-everton-deal-for-demarai-gray/) signing Moise Kean looks to finally have been delivered clarity after an update from Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

There have been conflicting reports coming out over where Kean will be plying his trade this season. He was heavily linked with a loan return to PSG – where the young striker thrived last season – before new boss Rafa Benitez reportedly held him back from leaving.

However, his tune appears to have changed with [Romano indicating](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1431736223471702021)a deal to send Kean back to former club Juventus has been agreed.

Indeed, Kean has already flown to Torino for a medical ahead of a two-year loan with an obligation to buy the player on Juventus’ part.

Kean will fill the void in striking quality following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo back to former club Manchester United.

The 21-year-old joined Everton on a five-year deal from Juventus in 2019 for a fee of around £27 million. \[[Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11671/12392957/moise-kean-juventus-close-to-re-signing-everton-striker-after-cristiano-ronaldos-exit)\]

He only scored[two goals in 29 appearances](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11671/12392957/moise-kean-juventus-close-to-re-signing-everton-striker-after-cristiano-ronaldos-exit) during his first season at Everton before he was shipped out in the following campaign on loan at Paris Saint-Germain where he scored a more productive tally of 18 goals in 40 matches in all competitions.

Kean is still very much a raw talent and has proven outside of English football that he remains a formidable talent.

For a multitude of reasons, he has been unable to muscle into plans under both Carlo Ancelotti and Rafa Benitez – an understandable impasse considering the fine consistent form of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

It seems Everton will now cut their losses and look to raise funds through an eventual Kean sale.
