[Palace](https://readcrystalpalace.com/) signed Bolasie for £350,000 from Bristol City in 2012 and will likely use the funds from the deal to bring in [Liverpool](https://readliverpoolfc.com/) striker Christian Benteke.

Everton director of football Steve Walsh has been a long-term admirer of Bolasie, who was previously linked with a move to [Tottenham](https://readtottenham.com/), and attempted to sign him for [Leicester City](https://readleicester.com/).
