Everton have reportedly been scouting Spanish forward Inaki Williams, who plays for Athletic Bilbao.
The 21-year-old striker is one of the most sought-after young players in Europe, and Athletic are keen to keep him and they are expected to offer him a new contract in the near future.
Roberto Martinez has been getting regular scouting reports on Williams from Jesus Seba as he looks to add to his squad.
The Spanish Under 21 international has been with Athletic since he was a schoolboy and became the first black player to score in their 117-year history when he netted in a Europa League tie with Torino in February of this year.
He missed the start of this season with a leg injury, but has scored three goals in the four La Liga games he has started since returning, and he also has one assist to his name.
The forward isn’t quite back to full fitness yet, he’s been substituted off in each of his four starts, which makes his performances even more impressive.
