After recent speculation over Gerard Deulofeu’s future due to Barcelona’s buyback clause, the Catalonian has expressed his love for the club.
The 21-year-old has scored two goals and made five assists in his 11 appearances, but only six of those appearances were starting, which make the stats look all the more impressive.
The winger first joined the Blues on loan in the 13/14 season and quickly fell in love with the club, while the fans fell in love with him.

Unfortunately, Everton were not able to secure a loan deal for the next season, and he moved to Europa League winners, Sevilla. The forward had a bad time of it there and he was continually criticised by manager Unai Emery.
Deulofeu returned to Barcelona, but he found himself far down the pecking order and took the decision to ask for a transfer, and he only had one place in his mind he wanted to go.
Speaking at the Everton Optimum event on Tuesday night, Deulofeu said:
I am so happy to be staying here a long time. When I stayed here the first time, I love Everton and now I’ve come back. I hope to stay here for a lot of years.
Hopefully, the Catalonian’s form can continue as Everton face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday. Everton are looking for back to back victories after the thrashing of Aston Villa at Goodison Park last weekend.
